Gotta Have It … Now

If you haven’t figured it out yet, the phrase of the times is social media. Everybody wants information dished out in the format they prefer, whether it’s Facebook, Twitter or the new Google+.

Enter the cultural divide. You can describe it in the terms of newspaper and book consumers. There is an older audience that still prefers words on a printed page delivered to them. While the younger crowd prefers their information streamed to them on Netbooks, smart phones or tablets.

Every CEO out there knows that social media is the wave of the now, but catching up to the curve and figuring out what the next great thing will be the key. And it will all be supported once they figure out how to monetize the electronic delivery of highly prized information, whether it’s written stories, videos or still photographs.
